Softball Recap: North Tama Comes Up Short

North Tama was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the GMG Wolverines. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 back in May.

North Tama's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for GMG, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Looking ahead, North Tama will take on Baxter at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. North Tama is facing Baxter at the right time seeing as Baxter is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for GMG, they will head out on the road to take on BCLUW at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Comets' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Wolverines' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
