Basketball Recap: Moss Point Drops Season-High Score on St. Patrick

Moss Point's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the St. Patrick Fighting Irish by a score of 48-38. The Tigers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Moss Point got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Terrance Coleman out in front who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds. Coleman continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Charles Nettles, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 11 boards.

Moss Point smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Moss Point's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for St. Patrick, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Coming up, Moss Point will take on Northeast Lauderdale in a tournament on Saturday. As for St. Patrick, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bryant at 7:00 p.m. on December 2.
