Football Game Preview: Marsing Huskies vs. Parma Panthers + How To Watch

For the first time this season, Marsing will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will venture away from home to challenge the Parma Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Marsing will be strutting in after a win while Parma will be coming in after a defeat.

Marsing took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They snuck past Payette with a 27-21 victory. The Huskies haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Marsing's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Noah Shelton, who rushed for 126 yards on only 15 carries. Those 126 rushing yards gave Shelton a new career-high.

Marsing didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Payette to a completion percentage of just 27.8%. The Huskies weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 100%.

Marsing didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Falkon Fraizer, Caleb Smith, and Moises Montes picked up one apiece.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Friday. Parma had to suffer through a 49-7 loss at the hands of West Jefferson. Parma has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Parma's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Marsing, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Everything came up roses for Marsing against Parma when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 59-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
