Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Forest Lake Christian

Forest Lake Christian had won three straight games and Kenzie Harrington did her part to make it four on Tuesday. The Forest Lake Christian Falcons strolled past the Encina Bulldogs with points to spare, taking the game 40-22 thanks in part to Harrington, who dropped a double-double on 13 boards and 13 blocks. She has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more rebounds the last 18 times she's played.

Another player making a difference was Jordan Bell, who posted 15 points and seven boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Forest Lake Christian's points.

Encina's loss came despite strong showings from Elise Brandon and Khaliah McDonald. Brandon dropped a double-double on ten points and 17 rebounds, while McDonald put up three points and 19 boards. That was a full 45.5% of Encina's points, marking the third time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points.

Forest Lake Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for Encina, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.
