Soccer Recap: Heritage Comes Up Short

Heritage managed to keep up with Northwest Whitfield until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Heritage Generals came up short against the Northwest Whitfield Bruins, falling 5-1. Having soared to a lofty six goals in the game before, the Generals couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Peyton Fields, which was the first he's scored this season.

Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Northwest Whitfield, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Looking ahead, Heritage will be playing in front of their home fans against LaFayette at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northwest Whitfield, they will venture away from home to square off against Woodland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
