Baseball Recap: Grayson Comes Up Short

Grayson has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 4.08 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They fell 10-7 to the Buford Wolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-0 on Tuesday.

This is the second loss in a row for Grayson and nudges their season record down to 17-8. As for Buford, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.

Grayson will face off against Loganville at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Buford, they will challenge Mount Paran Christian at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Wolves surely won't give up without a fight.
