On Tuesday, Grant suffered a rough 51-29 loss at the hands of Kennedy. While losing is never fun, Grant can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 751st, while Kennedy is ranked 294th).
Meanwhile, Heritage Christian took a serious blow against Newbury Park on Tuesday, falling 58-28. Heritage Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-14.
This is the second loss in a row for Grant and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Heritage Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
