Softball Recap: Thomas Jefferson Academy Comes Up Short

The Thomas Jefferson Academy Jaguars didn't have quite enough to beat the Lake Oconee Academy Titans on Tuesday and fell 6-5.

Thomas Jefferson Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Lake Oconee Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7.

Looking ahead, Thomas Jefferson Academy will challenge Bulloch Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lake Oconee Academy, they will venture away from home to face off against Lincoln County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Red Devils have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.27 runs per game on average), something the Titans will no doubt try to take advantage of.
