Soccer Recap: Beechcroft Takes a Loss

Beechcroft lost against Whitehall-Yearling back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cougars lost 5-2 to the Rams. Beechcroft have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

David Obembe and Kauan Ferreira scored both of Beechcroft's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Beechcroft's record is now 4-9-1. As for Whitehall-Yearling, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7-1.

Coming up, Beechcroft will be playing in front of their home fans against Walnut Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Beechcroft will be up against Walnut Ridge's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.54 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Whitehall-Yearling, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Independence at 7:00 p.m.
