Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Gatewood walked away with it. They had just enough and edged out the Briarwood Academy Buccaneers 6-5. The victory was nothing new for the Gators as they're now sitting on three straight.

Riley Roberts made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high.
