Ankeny Centennial is a perfect 10-0 against Urbandale since June of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Jaguars are taking a road trip to square off against the J-Hawks at 5:00 p.m. Ankeny Centennial will be strutting in after a victory while Urbandale will be coming in after a defeat.

Ankeny Centennial is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Iowa's top teams: Valley, who was ranked tenth at the time (Ankeny Centennial was ranked fourth). The Jaguars narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Tigers 8-6. Surprisingly, this marked the Jaguars' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Meanwhile, Urbandale fell victim to Indianola and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Indians, falling 7-0. The J-Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ankeny Centennial has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Urbandale, their loss dropped their record down to 8-24.

Everything went Ankeny Centennial's way against Urbandale when the teams last played last Friday, as Ankeny Centennial made off with a 14-6 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jaguars since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
