Soccer Recap: Northview Wins Going Away Against Covina

Northview kept a clean sheet against Covina on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Covina Colts with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 1-0 back in January.

Northview hit Covina with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Nayleah Agundez, Brianna Castaneda, and Alexis Rivera.

The win got Northview back to even at 8-8-2. As for Covina, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northview will venture away from home to face off against Wilson at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Wilson's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Covina has already played their next contest (against Charter Oak), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
