Soccer Game Preview: Christian Brothers vs. Sierra

The Christian Brothers Falcons will head out on the road to take on the Sierra Timberwolves at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Christian Brothers' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for 16 straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Christian Brothers is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Wood a 1-0 shutout.

Meanwhile, Sierra waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They blew past the Falcons 6-0. The result was nothing new for the Timberwolves, who have now won 13 matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Sierra pushed their record up to 21-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 32 goals over those seven games. As for Christian Brothers, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 6-13.

Christian Brothers came out on top in a nail-biter against Sierra in their previous meeting back in February of 2020, sneaking past 2-1. Will Christian Brothers repeat their success, or does Sierra have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
