Football Recap: Riverwood Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Riverwood fell victim to River Ridge and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 35-0 loss at the hands of the Knights. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 296th, while the Knights are ranked 74th).

River Ridge's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Camden Cox led the charge by rushing for 102 yards and one score on only 11 carries. Micah Pugh was another key back, gaining 74 total yards and two touchdowns.

Riverwood is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. As for River Ridge, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.
