Princeton proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Canby Lancers. The win was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won five matchups in a row.

Princeton's victory bumped their record up to 16-1. As for Canby, the loss snapped their winning streak at six matches and leaves them with a 15-9 record.

Looking ahead, Princeton will take on Sartell-St. Stephen in a tournament on Saturday. As for Canby, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Rocori on the 10th.
