Basketball Recap: South Western Comes Up Short

South Western was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 56-46 to the Waynesboro Indians. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Mustangs came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 122nd, while the Indians are ranked 320th).

South Western now has a losing record at 4-5-1. As for Waynesboro, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-8.

South Western does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Waynesboro, they will head out on the road to challenge Middletown at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
