West Monona had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Saturday. They skirted past the Kingsley-Pierson Panthers 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Spartans have posted against the Panthers since June 5, 2018.

West Monona's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-6. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Kingsley-Pierson, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 13-5 record.
