Edgerton extended their winning streak to five on Saturday, bumping them up to 10-7. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Beloit Memorial Knights a 4-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for the Crimson Tide, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

As for Beloit Memorial, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. Having soared to a lofty 22 runs in the game before, their shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

For Beloit Memorial's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brenin Pearson, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Edgerton will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Knights: the pair will be back at it again later today.
