Soccer Game Preview: Model vs. Calhoun

The Model Blue Devils will head out on the road to square off against the Calhoun Yellow Jackets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Model is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.

Model's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Friday. Everything went their way against Temple as they made off with a 4-0 win. Model might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, while the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was Cherokee who was credited with the victory on Friday. The Warriors got it done in the shootout by posting one goals to Calhoun's zero.

Model pushed their record up to 11-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three matchups. As for Calhoun, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.
