Baseball Game Preview: Providence Catholic Celtics vs. Ridgewood Rebels

The Providence Catholic Celtics will take on the Ridgewood Rebels at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ridgewood took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Providence Catholic, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Providence Catholic beat St. Patrick 10-6. The victory continues a trend for the Celtics in their matchups with the Shamrocks: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Ridgewood's offense. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bartlett on Thursday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Rebels haven't been shut out since back in April.

Providence Catholic's win bumped their record up to 17-14. As for Ridgewood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-15 record this season.
