Chardon is 1-7 against Riverside since September of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Hilltoppers will be playing at home against the Beavers at 7:00 p.m. Chardon is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4 goals per game this season.

Riverside better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Chardon's game on Thursday is any indication, that's when Chardon really gets things going. The Hilltoppers' defense stepped up to hand Brush a 4-0 shutout. The win continues a trend for Chardon in their matchups with Brush: they've now won five in a row.

Chardon hit Brush with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Luke Vucetic, Alex Monkiewicz, Will Monkiewicz, and Dylan Schneier.

Meanwhile, Riverside came up short against West Geauga on Saturday, falling 5-1. Riverside were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 5-0.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12-1. As for Chardon, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3-1.

Chardon skirted past Riverside 4-3 in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Will the Hilltoppers repeat their success, or do the Beavers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
