Recap: Saint Francis Lancers vs. Archbishop Mitty Monarchs
After soaring to 55 points the game before, the Saint Francis Lancers were a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Archbishop Mitty on the road and fell 79-14. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Saint Francis has scored all season.
Maia Jimenez was Saint Francis' leading scorer, having posted four points.
Sacha Touma held things down on the boards with six rebounds. She took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with an assist.
Saint Francis' loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Archbishop Mitty, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 20-0.
Saint Francis will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Ignatius College Preparatory is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Archbishop Mitty, they will head out on the road to square off against the Fightin' Irish at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last seven games.
