South is a perfect 10-0 against North since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Spartans will welcome the Saxons at 6:30 p.m. South is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.

If North heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when South took over last week. The Spartans came out on top against Wiseburn- Da Vinci by a score of 3-1 on Friday. Given South's advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 86th, while Wiseburn- Da Vinci are ranked 242nd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, North kept a clean sheet against Peninsula on Friday. They skirted past the Panthers 1-0. Anais Heredia had the honor of scoring the game-winner for North.

North's victory bumped their record up to 10-2-2. As for South, their win bumped their record up to 9-3-3.

South skirted past North 1-0 when the teams last played on January 9th. Do the Spartans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Saxons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
