Basketball Recap: Greater Nanticoke Area Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hanover Area last Monday, Greater Nanticoke Area came back down to earth. The Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans received a blow on Wednesday as they fell 74-57 to the Holy Redeemer Royals. The loss continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Royals: they've now lost five in a row.

Greater Nanticoke Area's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Holy Redeemer, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Greater Nanticoke Area will head out to face off against Wyoming Area at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Greater Nanticoke Area is facing Wyoming Area at the right time seeing as Wyoming Area is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Holy Redeemer, they will welcome Tunkhannock at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
