Mount Paran Christian came tearing into Saturday's contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Marist War Eagles. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the War Eagles back in August, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

Leading Mount Paran Christian to victory were Nola Belle Schoenborn and Emma Schwaig. Schoenborn had 12 digs and three assists, while Schwaig had six digs. That's the most digs Schwaig has posted over her last nine matchups.

Despite the loss, Marist still got an impressive performance from Grace Kipers, who had 15 assists and six digs.

Mount Paran Christian's victory bumped their record up to 30-10. As for Marist, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 27-5.
