Basketball Recap: Keystone's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Keystone waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They blew past the East Forest Bears, posting a 57-19 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Leading Keystone to victory were Isabella Brandon and Ashlee Albright. Brandon went 5 of 6 en route to 12 points and five steals, while Albright posted 11 points in addition to five assists and three steals. Brandon is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 22 games she's played dating back to last season. Jillian Winters was another key player, putting up six points and four steals.

Keystone has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.4 points per game. As for East Forest, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Keystone will venture away from home to face off against Union at 7:30 p.m. on February 12th. As for East Forest, they will head out to square off against Clarion-Limestone at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
