Basketball Recap: Moreno Valley Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 32-32 at halftime, Moreno Valley was not quite Oak Park's equal in the second half on Thursday. They took a 69-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Moreno Valley is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5. As for Oak Park, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-3 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moreno Valley will challenge Oak Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oak Park, they will welcome Dos Pueblos at 7:00 p.m. on the 13th.
