Hanford had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Tulare Western Mustangs by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 last Monday.

Hanford had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 26-24, 25-14, 25-15.

Shelby Haire paced Hanford's offense, picking up 14 kills. Haire got some help from Claire Welch and her 24 assists. Arris Fellhauer controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Despite the defeat, Tulare Western had strong showings from Maliah Mu?oz, who had 29 digs and two aces, and Belinda Sanchez, who had 29 assists and 13 digs. Mu?oz has been hot recently, having posted 20 or more digs the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Abby Babb, who had 11 digs.

Hanford's record now sits at 17-11. As for Tulare Western, their loss dropped their record down to 13-18.

Hanford wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Mission Oak on the 21st. As for Tulare Western, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Lemoore on the 21st.
