Softball Recap: Stuart Triumphs

Stuart barely beat Whitesboro the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Hornets' pitchers stepped up to hand the Bulldogs a 12-0 shutout on Monday. The Hornets have beaten the Bulldogs the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Bulldogs has come to flipping the script.

Stuart now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Whitesboro, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Stuart beat the Bulldogs by a score of 11-0 later that day.
