Basketball Game Preview: Orange Cove Titans vs. Granite Hills Grizzlies

The Orange Cove Titans are taking a road trip to square off against the Granite Hills Grizzlies at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Orange Cove is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 60 points back in December of 2024, they were much more limited against Corcoran on Friday. They were beaten by the Panthers 61-17. The Titans have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Granite Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Farmersville and fell 67-26. The Grizzlies were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-18.

Granite Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Orange Cove, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Orange Cove came up short against Granite Hills in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 35-25. Can Orange Cove avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
