Softball Recap: Telfair County's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

If Telfair County was riding high fresh off their 11-0 takedown of Dublin on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trojans came up short against the Clinch County Panthers on Thursday, falling 14-3. The loss put an end to the Trojans' undefeated start to the season.

Trinity Deeds was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, Telfair County fell to 2-1.

Telfair County and Clinch County will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Trojans will challenge rival Montgomery County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Clinch County is set to take on their familiar foe Echols County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
