Softball Recap: Chadron Comes Up Short

After soaring to 19 runs the game before, Chadron was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They lost 13-2 to the O'Neill Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cardinals have suffered since September 13th.

Chadron saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addisyn Gruver, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Chadron's defeat dropped their record down to 12-12. As for O'Neill, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-11.

Chadron has already played their next game (against Alliance), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. O'Neill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
