Football Recap: Lower Merion Comes Up Short

Lower Merion came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They had to suffer through a 54-12 loss at the hands of the Ridley Raiders. The Aces have struggled against the Raiders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Lower Merion's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Ridley, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lower Merion will take on rival Springfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Ridley is set to square off against their familiar foe Marple Newtown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
