Basketball Recap: Berean Christian Find Success

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Berean Christian had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They managed a 56-52 win over the Making Waves Academy Marlins. Berean Christian's victory was all the more impressive since the Marlins were averaging only 25 points allowed on the season.

Jadee Salvador continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double with 40 points and nine rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Berean Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jianna Cayanan, who posted eight points.

Berean Christian's win bumped their record up to 11-15. As for Making Waves Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-4.

Berean Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-39 loss against Cloverdale on the 21st. Making Waves Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
