After a string of five wins, Garrett's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Angola Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Sarah Depew paced Garrett's offense, picking up six kills. Depew got some help from Rilyn Flotow and her 13 assists.

Garrett's defeat dropped their record down to 20-7. As for Angola, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season.

Garrett wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Fairfield on the 11th. As for Angola, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against West Noble on the 11th.
