Football Recap: Ardrey Kell Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Ardrey Kell suffered their closest defeat since October 10, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Palisades Pumas by a score of 14-11. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pumas apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Jared Curtis threw for 125 yards on 17 of 31 attempts. Justin Bossert was his top target, picking up 40 receiving yards. On the ground, Tristan Rivest rushed for 53 yards.

Cole Hough looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 280 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes. A healthy portion of Hough's aerial production (108 yards to be exact) went to Jolani Legette.

Ardrey Kell dropped their record down to 3-3 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Palisades, their record is now 4-2.

Ardrey Kell and Palisades should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. The Knights will challenge Rocky River at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (53 vs. 264). Meanwhile, Palisades (ranked 74th) will meet Ballantyne Ridge (ranked 257th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
