Soccer Recap: Calvary Chapel Comes Up Short

Calvary Chapel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Garden Grove Argonauts. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 784th, while the Argonauts are ranked 263rd).

Calvary Chapel's loss dropped their record down to 5-8-1. As for Garden Grove, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2-3.

Calvary Chapel didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Fullerton on the 21st. Garden Grove has also already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Santa Ana on the 21st.
