Inola took an eight-run loss the last time they faced off against Collinsville, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Longhorns narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Cardinals 4-3. Winning may never get old, but the Longhorns sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Inola's victory bumped their record up to 16-12. As for Collinsville, they dropped their record down to 5-17 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

Inola has already played their next game, a 5-1 loss against Glenpool on the 22nd. As for Collinsville, they will welcome Booker T. Washington at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
