Melrose-Mindoro's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Arcadia Raiders by a score of 9-6. For the Mustangs, this counts as revenge for the 10-0 victory the Raiders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2023.

Melrose-Mindoro's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Brett Peterson, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Eric Herzberg was another, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Melrose-Mindoro's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Arcadia, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-17.

Looking ahead, Melrose-Mindoro will be playing in front of their home fans against Stanley-Boyd on Thursday. Arcadia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
