teams in the state of Utah face off in the class 6A state championship,
the quarterfinals of the CIF Southern Section Division 1 playoffs are
loaded, the state of Texas beings playoff action this week, and Ohio's Division 1 field is
down to the final eight.

StorylineBefore the season started, people
thought these two would meet in the new class 6A state
championship game and they were right. They are
clearly the two best teams in Utah. They met earlier this year and
Bingham easily won 45-17. The only two losses for East this season came
against Top 10 teams and the Leopards hope to avenge one of them Friday afternoon.

of the most talented, and storied, teams in California face off in this CIF Southern Section Division I second round battle. Corral, the second-rated quarterback in the Class of 2018 from California,
and Daniels, the top-rated quarterback in the Class of 2019, face each other for the first time. They have combined for over 5,500
yards passing and 68 touchdowns this year. This will be the fifth meeting
between the two schools since 2006 with the series tied at two games apiece.

Storyline
In one of the biggest games of the weekend, the top two teams from the Aloha State are meeting in the Division I Open championship. St. Louis knocked off Kahuku last year in the state final and the Red Raiders are hoping to return the favor in 2017. This will be the eighth meeting between the two since 2004 and St. Louis has won four of the previous seven matchups.

Storyline
One of the nation's biggest rivalries comes with a spot in the Ohio Division 1 semifinals on the line. This will be the second meeting between the two schools this season. St. Xavier won 20-17 in overtime, overcoming a 14-point, fourth-quarter deficit. The last three meetings have gone to overtime. St. X handed Colerain its only loss of the year last season in the regional semifinals en route to winning the Ohio Division 1 state championship.

St. John Bosco's 4-star quarterback has showed why he is one of the best from the Class of 2020. Uiagalelei has thrown for 2,000-plus yards and 22 touchdowns despite only starting five games this season. The most impressive stat is he has thrown only one interception.
