Softball Recap: Bayard Tigers vs. Chase County Longhorns
Bayard's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Chase County Longhorns as they made off with a 19-5 win. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Longhorns recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Kaidence Lee made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out 14 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off three hits. Those 14 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four stolen bases, and three runs. She has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last 13 times she's played.
