Basketball Recap: Hoover Has No Trouble Against Murphy + How To Watch

The Hoover Buccaneers strolled past the Murphy Panthers with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 67-52.

Despite the loss, Murphy still got an impressive performance from Cordairus Dixon, who posted 22 points and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Landyn Carson-Owens, who had six points.

Hoover's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Murphy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Hoover won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Vigor at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Murphy, they and Faith Academy will face off at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played.
