Basketball Game Preview: Hanford Bullpups vs. Lemoore Tigers

Hanford is on an eight-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, Lemoore a seven-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The Hanford Bullpups will welcome the Lemoore Tigers at 6:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Hanford lost 59-38 to Mission Oak on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Lemoore played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Tulare Western, falling 54-30. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1098th, while the Mustangs are ranked 436th).

Lemoore's loss dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Hanford, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-18.

Hanford came out on top in a nail-biter against Lemoore when the teams last played back in January, sneaking past 52-49. Will Hanford repeat their success, or does Lemoore have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
