Soccer Recap: Berkeley Gets the Win

Berkeley proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a goal and slipped past the Acalanes Dons 2-1. Berkeley's winning goal came courtesy of Terren Davis.

Berkeley has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five matchups. As for Acalanes, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Berkeley will venture away from home to square off against Alameda at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Acalanes, they will head out to take on Miramonte at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
