Volleyball Recap: San Miguel Takes a Loss + How To Watch

San Miguel lost against Desert Christian back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vipers came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-9, 25-10.

Desert Christian can attribute much of their success to Ava Ingold, who had 19 assists and two aces. That's the most aces Ingold has posted over her last three matchups. Another player making a difference was Abby Numer, who had nine assists and three aces.

San Miguel dropped their record down to 2-10-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Desert Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

San Miguel will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Coolidge at 11:00 a.m. As for Desert Christian, they will head out on the road to square off against Palo Verde at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
