Melissa piles up the points against Whitehouse

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Melissa Cardinals had no problem doing just that on Friday. They breezed by Whitehouse at home to the tune of 49-21. Considering Melissa has won ten contests by more than 25 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
When it comes to explaining why Whitehouse lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jakob Carey. Despite the final result, he threw for 99 yards and two touchdowns.
Melissa's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Whitehouse, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-4.
Melissa will take on South Oak Cliff at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. South Oak Cliff has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 388 points over their last eight matches. Whitehouse does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
