It was a good run, but Westminster unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Kell Longhorns by a score of 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Wildcats have suffered since September 10, 2024.

Westminster saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rebecca Curran, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Westminster's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Kell, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Westminster is set to square off against their familiar foe Cambridge at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wildcats 3.8, the Bears 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Kell will take on rival Centennial at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
