Softball Recap: Lewis Central Titans vs. Cedar Falls Tigers
After flying high against Harlan on Thursday, Lewis Central came back down to earth. The Titans took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cedar Falls Tigers on Saturday. The Titans were red-hot at the plate heading into the match (they scored no less than ten runs in the three contests prior), but the Tigers' pitcher proved too tough.
Sophia Frascht spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four runs (all of which were unearned) on five hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
