Softball Recap: Salem Snags Fourth Win in Last Five Games

Salem and Forest Park pushed the score to 18-15 the last time they played Forest Park, but on Wednesday defenses reigned supreme. The Seminoles never let the Panthers get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Seminoles have posted since August 8, 2024.

Salem is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-13 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Forest Park, they dropped their record down to 8-10 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.
