Softball Recap: Marist Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Marist extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping them up to 10-6. Everything went their way against the North Springs Spartans as they made off with a 10-2 win. The War Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by six runs or more this season.

As for North Springs, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For North Springs' part, Sarah Browne made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with one RBI.

Coincidentally, Marist and North Springs will both be playing Southwest DeKalb the next time they take the field. The War Eagles will host the Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Spartans will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
